Congratulations Supercomputing Challenge winners

Los Alamos Middle School team 72, Los Alamos High team 56, were named 1st, 2nd place winners and team 36 from Desert Academy in Santa Fe and 43 from Eldorado and La Cueva high schools in Albuquerque tied for 3rd place, but read about ALL the winners of the 2010-2011 Supercomputing Challenge and see all the publicity about the event and see the pictures of the Expo and the Awards Ceremony.

Tours of Sandia and UNM-CARC took place on March 7th.

February Project Evaluations

The Project Evaluations went off very well with 55 teams presenting their work. Public speaking, presentation skills and presenting results are just some of the skills developed in the Supercomputing Challenge.

Interim Reports were due December 10.

62 teams have submitted Interims.

Dec 5-11 was Computer Science Education Week

The Kickoff Conference was held on Oct 16-17, in Socorro, New Mexico.
