(22nd Annual) Supercomputing Challenge.

Congratulations Supercomputing Challenge winners

Jordan Medlock, Manzano High School team 82, 1st place, Cole Kendrick, Los Alamos Middle School team 72, was 2nd place and Alexandra Porter, Stephanie Djidjev, Lauren Li from La Cueva High School were 3rd place, but read about ALL the winners of the 2011-2012 Supercomputing Challenge and see all the publicity about the event and see the pictures of the Expo and the Awards Ceremony.

Final reports were due April 4th

Tours of Sandia and UNM-CARC took place on March 5th.

February Project Evaluations

The Project Evaluations went off very well with 74 teams presenting their work. Public speaking, presentation skills and presenting results are just some of the skills developed in the Supercomputing Challenge.

Interim Reports were due December 10.

95 teams have submitted Interims.

The Kickoff Conference was held on Oct 15-16, in Socorro, New Mexico.

Registration

Over 430 students and 71 teachers from 56 schools have registered for the 2011-2012 Supercomputing Challenge.
