Meghan Hill and Katelynn James from Monte del Sol, team 91, 1st place, team 4 from Albuquerque Academy, Carl Cherne, Mark Swiler and Jason Watlington were 2nd place and Los Alamos High School team 46, Jovan Zhang, was 3rd place, but view the Awards Ceremony Presentation of ALL the winners see all the publicity about the event and see the pictures of the Expo and the Awards Ceremony.

April 21, 2015 Proclaimed Supercomputing Challenge Day

New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez proclaimed April 21st as Supercomputing Challenge Day.

Congratulations to the Finalist Teams

Teams 3 and 4 from Albuquerque Academy, team 39 from Las Cruces High, team 108 from Las Cruces YWiC, teams 46 and 57 from Los Alamos High, teams 59 and 63 from Los Alamos Middle School, team 91 from the Monte del Sol and team 123 from Santa Fe High School.

64 Final reports were submitted

Tours of Sandia Laboratories and University of New Mexico took place on March 3rd.

February Project Evaluations

The Project Evaluations were held during February. They went off very well with 75 teams presenting their work at nine different locations. Public speaking, presentation skills and presenting results are just some of the skills developed in the Supercomputing Challenge.

Interim Reports were due December 10.

96 teams have submitted Interims.

Registration

Registration is open from September 1st and closes September 20th.

Over 370 students and 65 teachers from 54 schools have registered for the 2014-2015 Supercomputing Challenge.
